Martin William Madden

Martin William Madden, age 49, was found dead in his room at the Y.M.C.A. Hotel in Denver, Colorado, Saturday morning, January 23, 1965. He had been a resident of the Denver area for the past three months.

Born in Claremont, Illinois he was the son of William Martin and Geral (McWilliams) Madden. He had resided in Richland County most of his lifetime. He was a veteran of World War II.

His survivors are his wife, Anna Geraldine, and four children; William Edwin Madden of Effingham, Martina Sue Madden, Charles Edward Madden and Judy Anne Madden, all of Olney and one grandchild. He also leaves his mother Mrs. Geral Madden of Claremont, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Beulah Leathers and Mrs. Mildred Connour, both of Claremont, and Mrs. Helen Gubelman of Sumner, and Melvin Madden of Claremont.

Funeral services in the Memorial Chapel of Summers-Rainey Funeral Home. Interment in the Eureka Cemetery, south of Claremont, IL.
