Gene Weber

Dr. Eugene P. Weber, 61, of 1105 South Maple Street, died late Sunday evening, November 24, 1974 at St Luke's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.  Funeral services in the chapel of the Zirkle Funeral Home with Dr. W.A. Robinson officiating. Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Dr. Weber was born in Olney, April 3, 1913, the son of Dr. James A. and Eugenia Powers Weber. He was united in marriage March 30, 1934 with Marjorie Blackburn, who survives.

Following his military service during World War II, Dr. Weber practiced medicine in St. Louis, Mo. In 1964 he returned to Olney and was associated with the Weber Medical Clinic, retiring from active practice in 1971. Dr. Weber was associated with the First United Methodist Church in Olney.

In addition to his wife, he is sruvived by three sons, Lawrence J. of Olney, Robert P. of Tulsa, Okla. and Eugene P. Jr. of Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, John C. Weber and Dr. James A. Weber Jr. both of Olney; four sisters, Mrs. Glenn Edmiston, Mrs. John Fye and Mrs. James Redman all of Olney and Mrs. Robert Rye of Monroe, Mich.; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
