Jackson Landenberger - Class Of 1930

Frederick Jackson "Jack" Landenberger, 83, of St. Petersburg, Fla. died Tuesday May 7, 1996 in Easton, Mass.  Private graveside services at Haven Hill Cemetery with Pastor David A. McNabb officiating.

Landenberger was born December 13, 1912 in Olney, the son of Frederick Ross  and Cricket Jackson Landenberger.

He retired as plant manager for Armstrong Cork Co. of South Braintree, Mass. in 1977, after 42 years. He served with the Corps of Engineers during World War II and retired from the Army Reserve as a lieutenant colonel. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, a lifetime member of Rotary International and was an active member for 10 years with the Service Corps of Retired Executives.

He is survived by a son, Brad Landenberger and his wife, Jill of Harwich, Mass.; a daughter, Ann Hill of Olney; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a brother, George Landenberger; and a sister, Jane Verrill.
