Robert A. Jennings, 90, of Olney, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Helia Healthcare in Olney.  He was born on October 25, 1928 in Homewood, IL, the son of William and Lola (Murray) Jennings.  He married Bonnie B. (Cummins) on September 10, 1949 and she preceded him in death on February 6, 2006.

Bob retired from GTE in 1989 after 38 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and living in the country.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Beatrice Ann Hoover and husband David of Olney; sons, R. Wayne Jennings and wife Jenny of Watauga, TX and Michael Jennings of Olney; grandchildren, Bob (Deanna) Treece, Douglas (Marilyn) Treece, Seth Jennings, Chris Kirts, Amanda Rippe, Annie Schmitz, and Jennifer Hill and seven great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter, Janet Hamilton, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney with burial at Crest Haven Cemetery.
