Clem Richey - Class Of 1934

Clem "Pat" Richey Jr., 77, of Flora, died December 13, 1993 in his home.  Funeral services at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home  with Brother Edd Sterchi officiating. Burial in Crest Haven Cemetery.

Mr. Richey was born June 14, 1916 in Richland County, a son of Clem and Mamie (Young) Richey Sr. He married Sara Brian on April 19, 1943 in Hernando, Mississippi.

Mr. Richey was Director of the Flora Bank and Trust; a veteran of World War II, Army Air Corp veteran; Flora Elks Lodge; Flora American Legion Post; Flora VFW Post; in 1967 he was honored as being the only Flora resident rolling a "300" game; and a member of the Flora Church of Christ.

Mr. Richey is survived by his wife, Sara of Flora; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Mildred Richey of Methodist Village in Lawrenceville; two nephews and their wives, Jay and Pam Richey of Flora and Tom and Nancy Brian of Broken Arrow, Okla.; a niece and husband, Myra and Bill Lincoln of Portales, N.M.

Mr. Richey was preceded in death by his paents and a brother.
