Stanley M. Stevens, 59, of Olney, Rt. 3, died unexpectedly Monday, December 30, 1974 at the family residence.  Funeral services in the Memorial Chapel of Summers-Marshall Funeral Home with Rev. Don DeJarnett officiating. Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Stevens was a lifelong resident of Richland County, son of Grant V. Stevens and Golda Cutright Stevens.

He was a repairman and deliveryman for Sears for the past 14 years, a member of the Passport United Methodist Church and a Veteran of World War II.

He was married to Ruby Brust October 10, 1946.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Miss Brenda Stevens at home; a son, Dennie Stevens, Olney; a grandson, Rick Stevens; two sisters, Mrs. Waneda Whitaker and Mrs. Verdene Michels both of Olney.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Mendel Ray Stevens, and a brother, Olivet Stevens.
