Robert L. Pellum, 62, 102 E. Brentwood, died Tuesday August 16, 1983 at Richland Memorial Hospital.

Born in Olney October 13, 1920, he was the son of Lee and Hazel Brand Pellum.  He united in marriage, Aug. 16, 1953, with Pauline Hundley, who survives.

A printer with the Olney Daily Mail for 37 years, he was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church. A veteran of World War II he was also a member of the American Legion post here and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Other survivors include two daughters, Janis of Northbrook and Judy of Carbondale: three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Elaine) Stevens and Mrs. Mildred Clark, both of Olney, and Mrs. John (Helen) Summers, Sappington, MO, and several nieces and nephews.
