Jack Propes

Jack L. Propes, 55, 1021 W. Main, Olney died Sunday September 28, 1986 in Richland Memorial Hospital.  Services in Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Fry, Rev. David McNabb and Rev. Gene Everett presiding. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery with military graveside rites by Olney veteran's organizations.

Mr. Propes was born May 1, 1931 in Sumner, the son of William B. and Lucille (Travis) Propes. He married Mary Lou Rule April 27, 1956.

He was an Olney businessman. He was the owner of Propes Photography and West Side Trailer Court.

He was affiliated with Elm Street Christian Church, was a Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion, the Veteran's of Foreign Wars, the Moose Lodge, Olney Elks Lodge and the Richland County Country Club.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Lou; two sons, J.D. Propes and Murry Propes; a sister-in-law, Dolly Propes, Olney; a niece and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
