Robert L. Seesengood, 55, of R. R. 4, Olney, Illinois, died last Tuesday July 29, 1986 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.  Burial in Cresthaven Cemetery. Military rites at gravesite by the Olney Veterans Organizations.

Robert Seesengood was born in Richland County the son of Frank and Maude Brooks Seesengood on March 30, 1931. He married Karen Jones March 25, 1956 in Olney.

He is survived by his wife, Karen of Olney: two sons and their wives Dennis and Brenda of Olney and Ronald and Sherri of Calhoun; a daughter, Mrs. Wesley (Cheryl) Clodfelter and her husband, Wes of West Salem; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Jennings of Olney, Mrs. Mary Jane McMullen and Mrs. Shirley Dodd both of Springfield, Illinois and five grandchildren.

He was preceded by a brother Harlan Seesengood.

Mrs. Seesengood was a farmer in Richland County. He was a town clerk in Richland County, a member of the Citizens Committe, a member of the American Legion, and a member of the FHA Council. He attended the Free Methodist Church.
