James William "Bill" Hunt, 79, of Florissant, Mo. and formerly of Olney, died Thursday December 3, 2009 at Carle Clinic in Urbana.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Rev. Father Jerry Wirth officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Olney.

Mr. Hunt was born October 19, 1930 in Olney, the son of Charles and Edith (Johnson) Hunt. He married Marian Hahn on April 10, 1953. She preceded him in death November 14, 2008.

He worked in engineering for National Vending Company in Hot Springs, Ark. and St. Louis, Mo. He retired in Florissant, Mo. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea during the Korean War.

Mr. Hunt is survived by his wife's nieces and nephews, including Kevin Teeven of Peoria, Karen Iny of Riverside, Daniel Teeven of Houston, Texas, John Teeven of The Bend, David Teeven of West Salem and Jeffrey Teeven of Wichita, Kan.; and sister, Berry Harriman of San Diego, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edith Hunt, and his wife, Marian Hunt.
