Melvin Rudolphi

Melvin Rudolphi, 86, of Olney, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at his residence.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin with Reverend Father Stephen Rudolphi officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Wendelin.

Mr. Rudolphi was born January 21, 1926, in Clay County, the son of John Frank and Bertha Clara (Weber) Rudolphi. He married Helen Klingler on March 30, 1948, in Wendelin. She survives.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin. He was a U.S. Army veteran and member of American Legion.

Mr. Rudolphi is survived by his wife, Helen Rudolphi; son, Reverend Stephen Rudolphi; son, Kenneth Rudolphi and wife Therese; daughter, Barbara Miller and husband Jack; daughter, Patricia Matthews and husband Jim; son, Raymond Rudolphi; son, Gregory Rudolphi and wife Sheila; son, Christopher Rudolphi and wife Mary; son, Mark Rudolphi and wife Maria; son, Wayne Rudolphi and wife Ann; son, Doug Rudolphi and wife Connie; daughter, Ann Bryan and husband Gale; daughter, Mary Rudolphi; sisters, Dorothy Uebinger and Marilyn Wheaton; brothers, Herman Rudolphi and Richard Rudolphi; 32 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Andrew “Andy” James Rudolphi, brother, Raymond, sister, Louise, and grandchildren, William and Rachel.
