Gerald Baker

Gerald (Jerry) R. Baker, 65, of Charleston, died March 8, 1991 at his residence.  Services at Central Christian Church in Charleston with Rev. Jack Howard presiding. Burial in Crest Haven Cemetery in Olney.

Mr. Baker was born April 14, 1925 in Dundas, the son of Raymond and Lena Baker.

Mr. Baker was a manager of Charleston Division of the Illinois Secretary of State Drivers License Bureau. He was a member of Central Christian Church in Charleston. He was also a member of Moose, VWF, Elks, EIU Panther Club, Charleston Lions Club, Odd Fellows and Rebekah Lodge and was a World War II veteran in U.S. Navy.

Survivors include two sons, Jeff Baker and John Baker both of Charleston; his parents, Raymond and Lena Baker of rural Dundas; one brother, Harold Baker of Olney; and four grandchildren.
