Stephanie Jo Runyon, 49, of Olney, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at her residence.  Stephanie was born on February 11, 1970 in St. Charles, IL, the daughter of Norman “Sonny” and Mary (Hubble) Runyon.

Stephanie was owner/operator of Designer Dogs in Olney. She was a US Air Force Veteran. Stephanie enjoyed camping with friends and family. She took pleasure in being outdoors; hunting mushrooms, fishing with her Dad and Uncles, and metal detecting. Stephanie was a large part of her nieces and nephews’ lives. She enjoyed get-together's with family, especially the holidays and birthdays. Stephanie had a big heart for animals and loved animals of all kinds.

Stephanie is survived by her parents, Sonny and Mary Runyon of Olney; brother, Doug Runyon and wife Kari of Olney; nieces and nephews, Wesley Runyon, Krystal Haney, Dalton Runyon, and Jacob Runyon; great nieces and nephews, Dillon Haney, Karlee Haney, and Landon Runyon.

Memorials can be made to Richland Co. Humane Society.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney with burial following in St. Joseph Cemetery in Olney.  Full Military Rites will be performd at the graveside.
