Noel Loftin (Pe/HIstory 1974-1979)

William Noel Loftin Jr., 66, formerly of Princeton, Ind. died Saturday, September 27, 2008 at North Park Nursing Center in Evansville, Ind.  Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Princeton, Ind.

Mr. Loftin was born October 2, 1941 in New Orleans, La. the son of William Noel Sr. and Jeanne Catherine (Brown) Loftin.

He was a retired high school teacher and coach. He taught and coached at East Richland High School in Olney and Princeton Community High School. He coached at Gibson Southern High School, Tecumseh High School and Mt. Carmel High School. He also taught at Big Muddy Correctional Facility in Ina. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1962-1969 during the Vietnam War, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton.

Mr. Loftin is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shea and Rick Reneer of Princeton, Ind.; son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Michelle Loftin of Fishers, Ind.; mother, Jeanne Loftin of Plano, Texas; four grandchildren; brother, Chuck Loftin of Carrollton, Texas; sister, Francie Cirisian of Paso Robles, Calif.; brother, Joe Loftin of Mt. Pleasant, Utah; sister, Mary Jeanne Loftin of Austin, Texas; sister, Carol Lichliter of Dallas, Texas and sister, Kathy Scott of Edmond, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Noel Loftin, Sr.
