James E. Jenkins - Class Of 1952 VIEW PROFILE

James E. Jenkins

My dad was the best! He was very proud of his past, present, & future. He loved to share stories about his childhood ~ especially his High School years. We would look at the yearbooks and photos and he would share his memories. He loved to play sports and was very active in student activities in High School! After ERHS, my dad served his country in the USMC. He was very proud to be a Marine! He served in Korea. After returning home, he fell in love and married my mom, Carol (Shryock) Jenkins ~ class of '57. They moved to Cahokia, IL. My dad started working for McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis. He continued working in the St. Louis area as a Union machinist. Upon his retirement, he spent his time enjoying his friends, family, & faith. He especially enjoyed time spent with his 8 grandchildren. May dad rest in peace!
