Doris M. (Gallagher) Buckels, 95, New Palestine, Indiana passed away October 10, 2018. She was born December 13, 1922 in Calhoun, IL, the daughter of Joy and Dollie (Walter) Gallagher.

Doris retired from Verizon. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Olney, IL and the VFW in Salem, IL.

Doris was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacque Needham, a son in infancy, Michael, her brother, Neil Gallagher, and her son-in-law, Jerry Potts.

She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Poole (Tim) and Marsha Potts; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her aunt, Katy Lane.

Cremation will be accorded, with burial at Parkersburg Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg, IL at a later date.
