Edward J. "Butch" Kasten, 62, of Wichita, Kansas passed away October 1, 2009 after a battle with Parkinson's disease.

He was born January 10, 1947 the son of Paul and Alene Bell Trees Kasten.

Butch was in the insurance business.

He graduated from East Richland High School in 1965, attended Olney Central College and WSU at Wichita, Kansas, and served six years in the U.S. Air Force before entering the insurance business.

He is survived by six children; Michael, Mason, Hunter, Michelle, Whitney and Kristen; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Alene Kasten.
