Jack Schaub, 52, of 730 North Boone St., died late Wednesday, June 12, 1975 at Carle Hospital in champaign.  Burial at Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Schaub was born May 2, 1923 in Olney to Orville and Florence Kneale Schaub. On June 10, 1946 he was married to Ruth Marie Buss in Henderson, Ky. She survives.

A veteran of World War II, he was an active member of the First United Methodist Church. For several years he was associated with the Schaub Funeral Home. On November 30, 1953, he was appointed Postmaster of Olney and was transferred December 4, 1964 to rural mail carrier.

Mr. Schaub's survivors include his wife; a son, Richard of Champaign; his mother, Mrs. Florence Schaub, Olney; two brothers, Robert and William, both of Springfield.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ward and an infant brother, Richard.
