George L. Richardson, 82, of Olney died Monday, April 19, 2004 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Olney.

Mr. Richardson was born on February 7, 1922 in Olney, the son of George Louis Sr. and Elsa (Kell) Richardson. He married Rosalyn A. Nix on February 13, 1947. She survives.

He was a retired electrical contractor with Richardson Electric. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney. He was a World War II U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a life member of Olney Elks and a member of Petroleum Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife, Rosalyn A. Richardson of Olney; five children, Mary Kell Maris of Hobart, Ind., Mike Richardson of Olney, Martha Peavler of Olney, Trish Berry of Olney and Julia Perrin of Bridgeport; ten grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Darth Vaughn, and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Peavler.
