Delmar Franklin Diel, 86, of Orlando, Fla., died Sunday, January 3, 2010.  Funeral services at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church with Dr. Robert Eckerd and Rev. Hugh Foster officiating.

Mr. Diel was born January 11, 1923, in Noble, the son of Paris and Chloe (Ring) Diel.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He moved to Orlanda, Fla., in 1958 from Illinois. He received a Master of Business Administration from Rollins College in 1966. He was an elder at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Diel is survived by his wife of 65 years, Maryoleta (Bauman) Diel; sons, Dr. Walter Diel, Dr. Timothy Diel (Shirley); daughter, Karen Diel Mobley (Russ); grandchildren, Dr. T.J. Albert, Dr. Jeremy Albert, Ms. Jessica Diel, Master Derek Diel, Ms. Melanie Diel, Ms. Melissa Gustave, and Ms. Sherry Diel; and 5.5 great-grandchildren.
