Roy Edward Boley Jr., 70, of Godfrey, died Wednesday, December 29, 1993 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mr. Boley was born June 21, 1923, in Olney, the son of Judge Roy E. and Lydia (Pflaum) Boley.

Mr. Boley was a retired art instructor and director at Alton High School. He served in World War II in the Army Signal Corps. and also was a member of the American Legion Post #30 Olney, VFW Post #1308 Alton and Alton Wood River Sportsman Club.

Mr. Boley is survived by four sons, Roy Boley III and Lionel Boley both of Godfrey, Mark C. Boley and Murray K. Boley both of Jackson, Tenn.; and a sister, Betty J. Deones of Olney.
