Arthur Lloyd "Wormy" Martin, 84, of Olney died Friday August 18, 2005 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney  Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Mathis officiating. Burial with full military rites in Ebenezer Cemetery in rural Olney.

Mr. Martin was born on November 2, 1920 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the son of Arthur R. "Brownie" and Delpha (Ikerd) Martin. He married Letha Ratcliffe in 1945. She preceded him in death in 1972.

He was a retired tire manager for B.F. Goodrich. He also owned and operated Worms R Us.

Mr. Martin was a World War II Navy veteran, serving in the South Pacific Theatre. He was a member of American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Martin is survived by his daughter, Tracy Martin Thomas of Terre Haute, Ind.; son, William Bradley Martin and his wife, Tricia of Silverdale, Wash.; daughter, Kelly Martin Fleeharty of Olney; three sisters, Genevieve LeFever of Goodlettsville, Tenn., Geraldine Hagen of Olney and Barbara Bishop and her husband, Bryant of Battle Ground, Wash.; a brother, Larry Joe Martin of Boise, Idaho, long-time friend, Imogene Wood of Aurora, Colo.; and six grandchildren, Dr. Nicole Thomas of Bakersfield, Penn., Melinda Zwerin and her husband, Steve of Seattle, Wash., Drew Martin and his wife, Lisa of Redmond, Wash., Alex Martin of Silverdale, Wash., Benjamin Fleeharty of Olney and Logan Fleeharty of Olney.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, an infant son, and a brother, Charles Martin.
