Boyce F. Corbin

Boyce F. "Bud" Corbin, 73, of Worland, Wyoming, formerly of Olney and Bogota, died Thursday July 21, 1994 at Washakie Memorial Hospital in Worland.

Memorial services at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin Koch officiating. Burial at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Worland with graveside military honors.

Corbin was born January 31, 1921 in Bogota, the son of Myrl Otis and Zella Nevada (Foster) Corbin. He married Joan L. Barthelme in Olney February 14, 1947, and she survives.

He worked for Caterpillar in Peoria, served in the U.S. Coast Guard, worked in the oil fields and worked for Pure Oil and B-J Tool Co., before retiring from his own company, Corbin Well Service in 1985. He was a lifetime member and a former trustee of the Worland Elks Lodge, a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, the Worland Country Club, where he served as past president, a lifetime member of the Thermopolis VFW and a member of American Legion Post 44 in Worland.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Thomas F. Corbin of Ramona, Calif.; two daughters, Jane Johnson of Cheyenne, Wyo. and Judi Russell of Casper, Wyo.; two sisters, Geneva Donoho of Houston, Texas and Norma Jane Keyser of Lawrenceville; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
