Milton Orville Miller, 67, of Olney, IL, died March 1, 1989, in Dallas-Fort Worth Medical Center in Texas.

Mr. Miller was born November 24, 1921, in Richland County, the son of William and Celia Mae Dugan Miller. He married Betty Rusk April 12, 1943, and she survives.

He was retired from Pure Oil Company. He was a member of the Elm Street Christian Church and before that was a long-time member of the Noble Christian Church.

He was a member of the Noble American Legion and was a World War II veteran.

Survivors in addition to his wife are a son, Gayle Miller; four daughters, Cheryl Schwartz, Carol Lydle, Caye Horton, Carmae Bussard; a brother Melvin "Bud" Miller; two sisters, Vera Cummins and Lila Anthor; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter.
