Michael Anthony Osterman, 56 of Centralia, Illinois passed away Friday, July 6, 2018. He was born November 5, 1961 in Champaign, son of Lex and Doris (Wylie) Osterman. He married Marilyn Nix on June 30, 1991 and she survives.

In addition to his wife of 27 years, Marilyn Osterman of Centralia, he is also survived by a grandson, Liam Dalton Osterman of Patoka; daughter-in-law, Whitney Lowery and husband Matthew of Patoka; four sisters and a brother, Alexis Houser of Olney, Cindy Umfleet and husband Tom of Olney, Teresa Osterman of St. Louis, Missouri, Gary Osterman of Flora; mother-in-law, Deloris Nix of Olney; a brother-in-law, Harold Nix of Olney; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dalton Anthony Osterman and father-in-law, Gerald Nix.

Mike and his wife Marilyn owned and operated Sloans Auto Glass for 35 years. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, dirt bikes and woodworking. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends.
