Steven L. Holtz, 39, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Olney, died Sunday, November 21, 1999 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.  Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in Claremont.

Mr. Holtz was born in Olney, October 20, 1960, the son of Ronald L. and Trena Holtz.

He was employed by Kodak Corp. in Dallas, Texas as an Engineer. He was an Air Force veteran and had attained the rank of Tech. Sergeant.

Mr. Holtz is survived by his father, Ronald L. Holtz and his wife, Jan of Olney; his mother, Trena Knackmus and her husband, Cork of Olney; one daughter, Leanne Holtz of Effingham; one brother, Rob Holtz of Olney; one half-sister Amanda Holtz of Olney and five step-sisters.

He was preceded in death by both grandfathers and one brother, Doug Holtz.
