Comments:

Was a stay-at-home mom until 1985; went to OCC to get credits to be a reading aide. Worked at Silver Street School in 86-87. The next year I was transferred to Cherry School and was a reading aide for one year then the next year became the secretary. In January of 2000 the district combined all three elementary schools into one at the new East Richland Elementary School and was there until 2006 when I took early retirement due to post polio complications. Enjoyed my time in the disrict and still miss it today! Now, I take care of my home and husband to the best of my ability!

School Story:

Went to Roosevelt Elementary school in 1956 for first grade; we didn't have kindergarten way back then - at least in Casey. May have gone to Monroe Elementary for awhile but don't remember how long or what years. Went to Jr. High and High School at Casey High School - until the latter part of my freshman year then transferred to Radford High School in Honolulu, Hawaii for the rest of my freshman year, sophomore, and junior years. My parents sent me to live with my sister and brother-in-law, who was in the Navy and stationed at Pearl Harbor, so I could swim. Radford was almost as big as the town of Casey and this little midwest girl did alot of growing up and grew wise in the way of the world there! I'll always treasure my time there.

Items remaining in your bucket list:

Go back to Montana - specifically Glacier Park area
Go back to Hawaii
Visit my friend in Los Angeles area that I met at Radford High - we haven't seen each other since 1967 but do keep in touch
Travel - all over America and would love to go to England
Take off and land on an aircraft carrier
Keep growing in my faith
Become the kind of person that God would be proud of

Events/Factors leading to current home location:

I look forward to becoming a grandmother

We've always lived at this address since we were married - the house and land are in Frank's family. Our house is well over 100 years old.
