Janet Sue Roth, 61, of Olney, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Carle Hospital in Champaign, IL.  Janet was born on June 20, 1958 in Olney, IL, the daughter of LeRoy and Helen (Eckel) Shryock.

Janet enjoyed traveling and shopping. She especially enjoyed hosting parties for her friends and family. Janet would go all out to celebrate special occasions. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Janet is survived by her son, Jason Shryock of Olney; son, William "Bill" Roth and wife Jessica of Claremont; daughter, Lindsay Roth of Olney; grandchildren, Delaney Shryock, William "Will" Roth, Blaire Gallimore, Emily Roth, and Cova Roth; brothers, Scot Shryock and wife Dalla, Eric Shryock, and Paul Shryock and a few nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jamie Shryock; significant other, Doug Shehorn; and Wilbur Roth.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney.  A Rite of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with burial following in Crest Haven Memorial Park.
