Ivan William Musgrove

Ivan William Musgrove, 83 of Morrison, Tennessee passed away Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was born September 1, 1925 in Richland County, Illinois the son of the late Glen P. Musgrove and Frieda L. Mason Musgrove.

In earlier years, he was employed as a Foreman for Republic Steel in South Chicago for over 17 years. He and his wife Hazel were owners of I & H Mini-mart in Archer, FL for over 10 years prior to moving to Manchester. He was a member of Morrison Baptist Church and a life long member of the VFW, having been a United States Army veteran serving during WWII where he earned 2 Bronze Service Stars in the Luzon and Northern Solomons Campaigns.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Charles Wiliam Musgrove, five brothers, Troy, George, Keith, and Darrell Musgrove and a sister, Opal Little.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Hazel Rogers Musgrove of Morrison, sons and daughters-in-law, Richard A. (Barbara) Musgrove of Crown Point, IN, Galen G. (Andrea) Musgrove of Hammond, IN, John R.  (Linda) Musgrove and Randy L. (Cindy) Musgrove all of Manchester, TN; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and a brother, Ralph Musgrove of Hammond, IN and a sister, Betty Mosier of Gainesville, FL.

Funeral services at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Chris Sparkman and Brother Bill Murray officiating.  Burial at Summittville Cemetery.
