Frank Miller Class of 1942Frank F. Miller, 92, of Olney, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 at his residence. He was born on November 18, 1924 in Olney, IL, the son of Erna "Ernie" and Margaret (Flanders) Miller. He married Wilma M. Mitchell in June of 1949 in Albion, IL. She preceded him in death on April 3, 1998.

Frank owned and operated Miller Office Equipment. He began his business in the garage of his mother's house in 1949 and it continues to this day on Main Street in Olney. Frank served in the 11th Airborne Division of the US Army during WW II. Frank enjoyed flying his ultra-light airplane and later earned his pilot's license and flew a Cessna aircraft. He took pleasure in gardening, planting trees on his property, and sailing on East Fork Lake. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting. His great sense of humor will be missed by all those that knew him.

Frank is survived by his son, Gary (Brenda) Miller of Flora, IL; daughter, Pamela (Tim) Guhlin of Houston, TX; son, Frank M. (Brenda) Miller of Olney, IL; daughter, Debra Miller of Olney, IL; son, Von (Becky) Miller of Olney, IL; son, Brad Miller of Olney, IL; sister, Lynn Neathery of Dallas, TX; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister, Marilynn Hartshorn.

A memorial service will be held at a later time. Full Military Rites will be performed at the service.
