Harry Fessel

Harry Lee Fessel, 63, Olney, died June 3, 1988 in Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, Tenn.  Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney with military graveside rites.

Mr. Fessel was born June 27, 1924 in Olney, the son of Bud and Eulah (Turpin) Fessel. He married Eva Fay Dunaway on September 18, 1944 in Colorado, Springs, Colo. and she survives.

He was owner of Gaffner's Jewelry Store in Olney.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, he was Man of the Year in 1987 and a member of many civic organizations.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are two sons, Mark Fessel, Olney and Bruce Fessel of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Mary Nell) Nix of Olney and Mrs. Tom (Lynn) Barber of Lynchburg, Va.; six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
