George and his family lived two houses down from me on East Cherry St.  We played on the same little league team (Prairie Farms) along with Kerry Hough, Bud Varner, Mike Summers and others.  George's dad, Norris (Frog) Robinson molded us into a very good team.  It was great to learn that George continued in the footsteps of his wonderful dad through youth baseball programs.  Save a spot at 2nd for me on the team upstairs.  I send my deepest condolences.

Blessings, Jack Olson

I was shocked to see this.  I have been thinking of George lately remembering our childhood and the days we spent together playing golf while we lived in Jackson Michigan.  George was a good friend from grade school on.  His dad , Frog, was a friend of my dad's also.  My very best to Ann and the rest of his family.

My prayers go out to Ann and the rest of George's family.  Hadn't seen George since high school but I remember him as a good friend with that great attitude every time I ran into him.  May you rest in peace my friend!

I was saddened to hear of George's passing.  It seems God is getting together a bus load to take home and as we all move closer to the front of the line we can just rejoince in the time we've had with special people line George.  I'll see you soon.

George was my buddy , he moved into my neighborhood in the 5th grade and we became steadfast friends . He got me on the same little league where his father,Frog, was coach , we mowed lawns togather in partnership for a few years ,even watched as George took a swig of gasoline to see what it tasted like .He was rushed to the hospital for a stomach pump, after that  his mother Vivian blamed me ! We used to stand up on Main street with our bicycles yelling insults at passing cars and motorcycles trying to get them to chase us. In high school George worked at the Shell gas station adjacent to Mikes and I spent many nights there visiting with George and admiring his dark blue 1957 Chevrolet . George was always working and I know his wife Ann was the best thing that ever happened to George , R.I.P my friend .
