Johnnie D. Poland, 55, of Olney died Sunday February 13, 2000 at his residence.

Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Gary Wachtel, Lay Leader at St. Alban's Episcopal Church officiating. Burial in Dundas Cemetery with full military rites.

Mr. Poland was born January 15, 1945 in Richland County, the son of Henry H. and Irene (Fiscus) Poland. He married Betty Cook October 27, 1973. She survives.

He worked for the City of Olney Street Department. He was a member of the American Legion, Eagles Lodge and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Mr. Poland is survived by his wife, Betty Poland of Olney; one son, Johnnie Wayne Poland and his wife, Suzanne of Las Vegas, Nevada; one daughter, Dana Seessengood and her husband, Ryan of Noble; two brothers, Ron Poland, and his twin brother, Lonnie Poland, both of Olney; two sisters, Beulah Paddick of Sumner and Mary Randall of Noble; one grandson, Kyle Poland and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
