Ella Mae Ledeker, 85, of Olney, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  She was born on March 5, 1932, in Richland Co., IL, the daughter of Homer J. and Ruth Marie (Hunter) Williamson.  She married Ivan D. Ledeker on April 1, 1965 in Richland Co., IL.  He preceded her in death on May 16, 1977.

Ella Mae worked for Nina Wagner's Insurance in Olney during the 1950's and 60's. She was a homemaker and farm wife raising her daughters near Calhoun, IL. Ella Mae was a member of the Parkersburg United Methodist Church. She had a sweet smile and always a kind word and will be remembered for her strength and love for others. She enjoyed her family and friends who were always welcomed into her home. Ella Mae especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Ella Mae is survived by her daughters, Rita Kman and husband Russell of Olney and Brenda Beard and husband Brad of Dundas; 5 grandchildren, Kayli and Courtney Kman, Branton, Brayden, and Brianna Beard; sisters, Iva Cox of Phoenix, AZ and Helen (Carroll) Frutiger of Clay City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Venda Williamson, and beloved sister-in-law, Ruth (Joe) Crane.
