Lawrence J. "Larry" Hughes, age 71, born October 16, 1941 in Falls City, NE, passed away on January 10, 2013 in Burien, WA.

Larry proudly served in the US Army, and after tour of duty in Viet Nam, he returned to Seattle area and married his sweetheart, Donna Dalsgaard.

Larry was employed by M & R Equipment in Seattle until late 2012 when his illness forced his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his father Paul, mother Colette and brother Mike.

He is survived by Donna, his wife of 46 years, daughter Vickie Jimenez (Dave Wyatt), son Paul Hughes, granddaughter Rachel Spencer, grandson Bailey Wyatt, sisters Mary Jane Hughes, Suzy Orr, Martha Arnold, brother Jim Hughes, and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life to be held at date to be announced.Remembrances may be made to Highline Medical Cancer Center or American Cancer Society.
