Lulubelle King (Kessler)

Lulubelle (King) Kessler, age 84, of Olney, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Helia Healthcare in Olney. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Thursday, January 17, 2018 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 AM on Friday, January 18, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney. Burial will be at Wendelin Cemetery in Wendelin. Father Mark Stec will be officiating.

Lulubelle was born on August 27, 1934 in Robinson, the daughter of William and Goldie (Mills) King. She later married John Kessler on September 2, 1953 at St. Joseph Church in Olney. He preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney. She enjoyed doing genealogy with her daughter and dancing. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Lulubelle is survived by her son John Kessler (Teresa) of Olney; 3 daughters Theresa Uebinger (Art) of Ingraham, Deborah Storer (Chuck) of Marshall, Patricia Nettleton of Olney; brother William King (Kenna) of Frankfort, KY; 13 grandchildren Renee, Ryan, Greg, John, Heather, Amber, David, Nick, Abby, Richard, Steven, Katie, and Seanna; 24 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kessler, parents William and Goldie King, 3 brothers, Ray King, Harold King, and Howard King and 2 sisters Helen Green, Mable York, and Janet King.
