Robert Struble

Robert F. “Bob” Struble, 78, of Olney, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Gary Wachtel officiating. Entombment in Star of Hope Mausoleum in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont with full military rites performed by Olney veterans organizations.

Mr. Struble was born May 19, 1933, in Olney, the son of Telford and Mary (White) Struble. He married Cletys Gulley on November 22, 1980. She survives.

He was a repairman and facility technician for GTE in Olney and Marion. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Olney. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Olney Elks #926 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4226.

Mr. Struble is survived by his wife, Cletys Struble, of Olney; son, Garry Struble and his wife, Diane, of Glen Rose, Texas; daughter, Tonoah Kemper and her husband, Terry, of Noble; son, Douglas Struble, of Florida; sister, Norma Jean Butts, of Hartington, Neb.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Telford and Mary Struble, sisters, Vivian Robinson and Ruth Ann Davis and one brother, Kenneth Struble.

Memorial may be made to American Heart Association.
