Pat D. Hough, 77, of Olney, died Sunday, January 10, 2010, at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont with full military rites performed.

Mr. Hough was born March 21, 1932, in Richland County, the son of Roy and Mildred (Patterson) Hough. He married Carolyn Richey on July 29, 1956. She survives.

He was retired from insurance sales. He was a U.S. Korean War Navy veteran, serving from 1952 to 1956, and a member of the American Legion and a life-member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Hough is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of Olney; son, Stephen Hough, of Olney; daughter, Patricia "Cis" Wilkinson and her husband, Philip, of Wyoming, Ill.; son, Scott Hough and his wife, Beth, of Olney; son, Shannon Hough and his wife Lezlee, of Olney; sister, Bonnie Hill, of Olney; sister, Elwanda McCraw and her husband, Sid, of Olney; brother, Jerry Joe Hough and his wife, Charlotte, of Olney; brother, James R. Hough and his wife, Sue, of Olney; seven grandchildren; aunts; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mildred Hough.
