Cecil W. Jenkins, 74, of Greenfield, Indiana died on Jan. 13, 2012. Born on Jan. 15, 1937, in Olney, Ill. He was the son of Frank and Martha (Byford) Jenkins.

He served in the United States Air Force for twenty years and served during the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Surviving him are his wife, Nancy L. Jenkins of Greenfield; children, Larry W. Jenkins of Greenfield, James F. Jenkins of Tampa, Fla., and Patty L. Wallbrown of Greenfield; sister, Katherine Goodwin of Olney, Ill.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Visitation at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will follow with Pastor Wade Compton officiating. Burial at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Military graveside rites will be performed by the U.S. Air Force.
