Dina (Trainor) Bare, age 82, of Calhoun, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Helia Healthcare in Olney.Celebration of Life service  in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home in Olney. Cremation rites accorded.

Dina was born on March 13, 1936 in Xenia, the daughter of Russell and Maude (Dyer) Trainor. She later married Gerald Bare on July 5, 1956 in Shawneetown. He survives.

She worked as a book keeper for many years and also worked as the Activity Director at a nursing home in West Salem. She attended Calhoun Christian Church. She also enjoyed sewing, working on crafts, helping on the farm and spending time with her grandkids. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Dina is survived by her husband Gerald Bare of Calhoun; son Russell Mowry of Olney; 2 daughters Georgianna Judy (Ray) of Dale, IN and Cassie Bare of Vincennes; sister Sherry Boxley (Marc) of Peoria, AZ; 4 grandchildren Kristen Neathery, Jordan Judy, Cassandra Mowry and Ashley Mowry; and 6 great-grandchildren Sophia Neathery, Greyson Neathery, Mikayla Castro, Xavier Mowry, Ariana Mowry, and Cruz Mowry.

She was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Maude Trainor and sister Georgia Sechrest.
