Marion Edward "Ed" Judge, 78, of Macon, Illinois passed away at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015, at McKinley Court.  A service to celebrate Ed's life held at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home in Macon.  Ed will be laid to rest next to his wife, Beverly, in South Macon Township Cemetery.

Ed was born July 21, 1936, in Farmer City, the son of Lincoln Albert and Sylvia Olive (Gawthorp) Judge. He married Beverly Jean Morthland in August 1973. She preceded him in death on March 8, 2004.

Ed was a graduate of East Richland High School in Olney. He proudly served in the United States Army. He retired in 1996 from Caterpillar Tractor Co. after 30 years of service. He then became a bus driver for Meridian School District for many years. Ed was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, enjoyed hunting and coached youth baseball for more than 40 years.

Ed is survived by his children, Robert (Pam) Erwin, of Decatur, Robert Gene (Marla) Judge, of Illiopolis, Charles Kelly (Karen) Erwin, of Arkansas, Sonja Gragg, of Springfield, and Rebecca Sims, of Macon; brothers, Donald (Sharon) Judge, of Olney, and Richard (Violet) Judge, of Parkersburg; sister, Elaine Culpepper of Olney; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brothers, Carroll Judge and Robert Judge.
