Edward E. Shake, 75, of Ocala, Florida and formerly of Olney, died on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Brandley Hospice House in Ocala, FL.  Ed was born on August 16, 1944 in Olney, IL, the son of William Herbert and Lora (Lathrop) Shake.  He married Vandy (Vanderpool) on June 10, 1967 in Karns, TN and she survives.

Ed is survived by his wife, Vandy Shake; daughter, Michelle (Ben) Edmonds and children Will and Sara Edmonds of Murfreesboro, TN; son, Brian (Ashley) Shake, with children Royce, Tanner, and Burton Shake of Spring Hill, TN; son, Chad (Courtney) Shake, with children Bailey, Maisy, Rebecca Rose, and Avett Shake of Brentwood, TN; sister, Carolyn (Larry) Taylor of Olney.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Herbert Shake and Lora (Lathrop) Shake.

Memorials can be made to Eureka Cemetery or Brandley House.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney with a visitation beginning at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow in Eureka Cemetery.
