James Allen Steber

James Allen "Jim" Steber, 64, of Olney died Monday, April 16, 2007 in Olney.  Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Olney.

Mr. Steber was born May 29, 1942 in Olney, the son of James Edward and Mary E. (Everett) Steber. He married Anita Reis on May 30, 1967 and she survives.

He was a former employee for AMF/Roadmaster for 30-plus years and was presently working for SKS USA in Olney. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney. He was in the Army National Guard and was a member of American Legion, Knights of Columbus, Moose and Eagles.

Mr. Steber is survived by his wife, Anita Steber of Olney; daughters, Sonya Keller and her husband, Eric of Des Plaines and Melissa Dunn and her husband, Martin of Olney; son Greg Steber and his wife, Misty of Naples, Fla.; several grandchildren; brothers, Ron Steber, Don Steber, ; twin sister, Judy Spitz; sisters, Janice Steber, Sharon Eckel, Sandy Fehrenbacher, Mary Beth Coan and Debbie Ochs; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Gene and Zita Reis and grandson, Alexander Dunn.

Sharon Street (Burt) (1960)

I remember Jimmy Steber so well.  He was such a little guy all through school.  I don't think he grew up until he was already out of high school.  Always a super nice boy and later an awesome man.  I am remembering him today on the date of his death, April 16th, 2007.
