James K. Wattleworth, 76, of Marion, Illinois, formerly of Olney, IL, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at The Anchor in Marion.  Jim was born on April 14, 1942 in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Dr. Kent Lincoln and Dorothy Jean (Hine) Wattleworth.

Jim was retired from Southern Fastening Systems and was known as the “Nail Guy”.  He formerly owned and operated Ole Jim’s TV and Appliance.  He also had a B.S in Education from SIU.  

Jim is survived by his sons, Brad (MaryAnne) Wattleworth and Brian (Coleen) Wattleworth; 5 grandchildren, Whitney (Brad) Buck, Mitchell (Shelbi) Wattleworth, Brett, Mason, and Ethan Wattleworth; 3 great-grandchildren, Brinkley and Natalia Buck and Vivian Wattleworth; Brother, Michael (Maria) Wattleworth; and sister-in-law, Becky Wattleworth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert Wattleworth, and an aunt, Shirley Lefler.

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, Marion.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney with a visitation beginning one hour prior.  Burial will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park.
