Sharon J. (Street) Burt, 80, of Olney, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Carle RMH in Olney, Illinois.Sharon was born November 11, 1941 to Roe George and Leona (Diel) Street. She married Lawrence "Larry" Dale Burt on June 28, 2003. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2005.

Sharon was a long haul truck driver and after retiring she continued to work into her 80's at Street Chiropractic and for the Chuck Roberts Law Office. She was a graduate of Olney High School, class of 1960, and enjoyed working with the reunion committee.

Sharon enjoyed horses and when she was younger she showed horses. She took pleasure in attending Rodeo's and watching dog show's on TV. She had a miniature pincher dog named Annie that she showed. Sharon was an animal lover and enjoyed watching animals of all types. She especially enjoyed shopping and going out to eat with friends.

Sharon J. (Street) Burt is survived by her son, Mark Huchel and wife Tammy of Olney, Illinois; grandchildren, Marque and Lillian Huchel; two great grandchildren; brother, Dr. Robert (Carolyn) Street of Cave Creek, Arizona; sister-in-law, Shirley Street of Olney; and nieces, Heather Martin, Lori Tarr, and Alicia Street..

She was preceded in death by parents; son, Micheal Huchel; husband, Larry Burt; and brother, Gary Street.

A funeral will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois. A visitation will be held one hour before service time at the funeral home. Interment will take place at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Oakridge Cemetery in Marshall, Michigan.
