Olney Township High School

World War II Dead

By 1945, about two thousand Richland County citizens served their country. The Olney Township High School, 1945 Olnean listed them, on nine pages, double columned.  The list included men and women of various ages. It included scores of others who gave their life, and hundreds who were injured.

The 1945 Olnean list includes familar names if you look at many Olneans.  The names are those of grand parents, parents, aunts and uncles, and brothers and sisters of school mates.

Those featured below had been Olney Township High School students. Then, they served -- giving all.

(P.S.: Got pictures of relatives who served?  Let me know.  John Fritchey)
