Amy (Cummins) Rusk is a 2004 graduate of East Richland High School. She earned her bachelor's degree in Business Education from Eastern Illinois University in 2008, her master's degree in Education from Eastern Illinois University in 2011, and received her endorsement in English in 2012.


Amy began her teaching career at Newton Community High School where she taught Business for 3 years. She currently teaches Business and English at Richland County High School. She is also the Yearbook Adviser, Junior Class / Prom Sponsor, and RU Society Sponsor at RCHS.


Amy is a Deaconess, Wee Worship Leader and Organizer, Sunday School Teacher, PreK Christmas Program Co-Director, and PreSchool VBS Co-Director at Mt. Gilead Church. She has been active with the ACS Relay for Life of Richland County.


Amy is married to Rylan Rusk. Rylan teaches Agriculture classes at RCHS and is one of the Olney FFA Advisers. They have two children: Braeda & Madden. The Rusk family resides in Olney.
