Taylor Brashear

Parent(s): Sherry and Daniel Brashear

Plans after high school: I will be attending OCC for 2-3 years and after that I will transfer to Vincennes University for my bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Long-term career goals: Eventually I would like to get my Doctorate degree in Nursing.

Expression of thanks: I would like to thank TAC/TPAA for this scholarship. I greatly appreciate the support and I’m extremely thankful that I can use this scholarship to further my education.

Christopher Cline

Parent(s): Alex and April Cline

Plans after high school: Attend Olney Central College, then transfer to Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.

Long-term career goals: Possibly mobile developer, but subject to change.

Expression of thanks: This scholarship will help me immensely, and I’m more thankful than words can express. I appreciate this, and I know that my fellow recipients do too. Thank You!

 

 

Emma Corry

Plans after high school: I will be attending University of Southern Indiana where I will be majoring in Journalism and minoring in Theatre.

Long-term career goals: I plan to expand my career through USI through internships. I plan to one day live in an area with the best job opportunities possible.

Expression of thanks: I express my gratitude to TAC/TPAA for giving me the opportunity to expand my education. I plan to one day come back and give the opportunity to others.

Lauren Eagleson

Parent(s): Tom and Denyse Eagleson

Plans after high school: I will be attending Greenville University and majoring in English and Language Arts Education while also participating in the women’s basketball program.

Long-term career goals: I plan to become an English teacher and basketball coach at the middle school or high school level. Eventually, I would like to pursue a career as a school administrator or a professor at a college or university.

Expression of thanks: Thank you for your generosity and willingness to financially aid my college education. This scholarship will go towards paying for my tuition. Again, thank you for selecting me as one of the recipients.

 

 

Paige Ginder

Plans after high school: Attend Kaskaskia College and then transfer to a 4 year university.

Long-term career goals: Undecided, but thinking about being a vet tech.

Expression of thanks: Thank you very much for considering me for this scholarship. The money will go to help pay for my rooming, books, etc.

 

 

Audrey Jensen

Plans after high school: Going to OCC, then transferring to a 4 year university to major in Journalism, then go to law school.

Long-term career goals: To become a lawyer.

Expression of thanks: I really appreciate this scholarship. I am very thankful that I can use it to help further my education.

 

 

Dylan Klingler

Plans after high school: I am going to attend OCC to get my associates in science before transferring to major in Pre-med, then go to med school.

Long-term career goals: My goal is to become a General Practitioner or a Pediatrician.

Dalton Mitchell

Plans after high school: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Greenville College.

Long-term career goals: Get my CPA and go wherever a job opening is.

Expression of thanks: This scholarship is greatly appreciated. The Tiger Pride Alumni gives a lot back to the kids in this town. The money helped my financial situation tremendously.

McKenzie Mowrer

Plans after high school: Go to Vincennes University for 2 years then transfer to Purdue to pursue an Aeronautical Engineering degree.

Long-term career goals: Get a good job hopefully helping out the government.

Expression of thanks: This scholarship is really helping me pay for my first year of school. I could not be more thankful to the Tiger Pride Alumni.

 

 

Nicole Shan

Plans after high school: Attend OCC for two years and then transfer to Eastern Illinois University to major in Elementary Education.

Long-term career goals: Become an elementary school teacher in Richland County.

Expression of thanks: Thank you so much for selecting me as a recipient of the 2017 TPAA Scholarship Award. Your generosity will help me achieve my goal of becoming an elementary school teacher.

 

 

Stephanie Shan

Parent(s): Sirena Shan and Kevin Shan

Plans after high school: Attend OCC for a year to obtain my associates in science and transfer to a University (McKendree or SIUE) to pursue a career in science.

Long-term career goals: Possibly working at a research facility or forensic science laboratory.

Expression of thanks: Thank you so much for awarding me with this scholarship. It will help immensely with my expenses at OCC. Thanks again.

 

 

Natalie Shouse

Parent(s): Scott and Brandy Shouse

Plans after high school: I plan to attend Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO. Majoring in business management.

Long-term career goals: I hope to work with a non-profit organization so I can give back to others.Expression of thanks: I am very thankful to have received this award. I’m appreciative to all the Tiger Alumni for their generosity in providing the financial means to allow for this scholarship. 

 

 

Connor Walker

Long-term career goals: Currently undecided. Interested in engineering and computer sciences.

Maranda Wiese

Plans after high school: Moving to Colorado with family, attend Front Range Community College for 1 year, then transfer to a University. Major in chemistry or biochemistry.

Long-term career goals: Unknown
